About the event
Fay is known hereabouts for her banjo and splendid harmonies with the legendary Short Sisters, though she enjoyed great times playing for contra dances with her husband Tom Staley and son Lee Staley as well. Now, Faye and guitarist Larry Unger are sharing a musical reunion at the Theatre of Memory on January 9th, when she’ll play clawhammer banjo and Larry will play guitar as they did throughout the 80s around New England. Since their old days on the circuit, Larry has toured in Canada, England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Denmark and Sweden, and has taught music in Afghanistan and performed in India. His original compositions and recordings have been featured in four different Ken Burns documentaries. Please purchase tickets under EVENTS for this Thursday evening very special performance!
